Wireless connection unavailable

I just bought a HP pavilion today and I can't get it to detect my wireless router. Computer is running WinXP. My housemate laptop works fine on network. I went into 'wireless network connection properties' and clicked the 'add' tab then entered the SSID. Is there anything else I'm supposed to do ...

can't access ISP webpage

Everytime I try to go to my ISP's webpage my browser, after a minute or so, the "the page cannot be displayed" page appears. The only new equipment I have recently is a Linksys router. I have no problem going to any other webpages. Anybody have any ideas?

Laptop question!!!

I want to buy this used Gateway Solo 5300 laptop base pulled from a working laptop. Is it true that the base will fit either a 12" and 14" lcd screen? This base is for a friend and I'm not sure what size of screen he has. His old base got water on it and it doesn't work anymore.

The problem with trying to stop the Sens is that they have depth and speed on all four lines. If they concentrate on one line, another will burn them. The devils will have a hard time, especially if the Sens score first. I'm betting Sens in six. :)

It's kind of interesting, in any other western country, gun deaths are abhorred. Yet they are so prevalent in the US that people are more concerned with their constitutional right to bear arms than with the actual number of deaths caused by arms.

No you shouldn't worry about it. The BMI is meant to be guide only. Bone mass can affect the results so maybe you have smaller bones than the average person, it doesn't mean you are not healthy.
