Re: Passed CCNA and ENCOR
Absolutely will open up doors. Japan, interesting, never been there but planning to visit some day. I am too settled/comfortable/lazy/married/old to gather up and move anywhere, but maybe I will try to spend summers in the EU in a few years when I slow down from work.
I was living in Okinawa ...

It is a very good thing that you are following up on this path, and you're consistent. Congrats on taking the test! Getting one of those security certs will definitely make you more valuable in any corporate/government setting. Do you use this knowledge in your current job, or what's next?

Re: What are you driving and how's it treating you?
I have a 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance.
It's an absolute blast. 0-60 in like 3.2 seconds). Really throws you back into the seat. Handles well. The ride is a bit stiff but I don't mind that in a sportier car.

I'm very interest in what DOGE can do to slow the bleeding in regards to spending.
That to me is one of the most important things that needs to be addressed.

Re: Passed CCNA and ENCOR
Follow up. I also passed ENARSI in September. So I got my CCNP Enterprise knocked out.
Thinking of doing CyberOps or CCNP Security next.
ENARSI was no joke. That was the hardest Cisco test I've ever taken.

Re: Passed CCNA and ENCOR
Don't get me wrong, the stuff on the exam was taught in the materials. But the troubleshooting labs in the materials were much more basic. Perhaps it was nerves or anxiety but the bugs I found on the exam were tougher. The course's practice labs were mostly easy as pie.

Re: Passed CCNA and ENCOR
Well, I went ahead and took the ENARSI exam. I didn't manage my time well at all. Spent over 20 mins on the first lab and pretty much sealed my fate. I ended up failing it. But that's to be expected. I tried to take it after only a month of studying and I've been out of the networking game for over ...

Passed CCNA and ENCOR
Passed CCNA in Feb and ENCOR in March. Going to take the ENARSI exam, hopefully toward the end of this month.
It's been a hell of a lot of studying. Almost there. One more test and I'll have CCNP knocked out.

I charge mine off a standard wall socket (220v) and that handles 99% of our charging. I don't even have the upgraded home charger. For road trips we use the supercharger network, which is great.

Prices will continue to drop. I'd hold out as well for a bit. I wouldn't buy an EV other than a Tesla though, that's for sure.
Definitely fun and the tech is great.

I bought a Tesla Model 3 Performance. Love that little beast of a machine.
Bet y'all never thought I'd be the guy doing that.
But it is a fantastic little car and the acceleration is nuts. Handles really well and obviously the tech is great.

Re: RFK Jr. plans to combat inflation by backing the US Dollar with bitcoin and gold
So basically, had we not taken the USD off of the gold standard, we would have choked off useless government and our dollars would be worth the same as they were in the 1970s. Oh gee! Granted, we would need to spend more but on that system, we would have bought more gold to back the dollar. Imagine ...
