I n Windows XP I am able to Change (add) ;) my mac adress , Now I have an extra cable modem / IP adress , when I get the changes made How would I set up my modem(s) staticly to work with my cable connection ?

Edit config.sys and add these lines

DEVICEHIGH=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICEHIGH=C:\WINDOWS\RAMDRIVE.SYS 700 /E

save, reboot, and go to My Computer and find out what drive was assigned to your ramdrive, it should be D: but it could be something ...

Try a format and recovery , then re aply the tweaks , More ram will help your system if your only running 64MB's or lower , The system.ini tweak will also help , Good Luck man.

Have you gotten anyword yet from @Home changing any of thier Policies at all ?

It involved setting the " Real Time " Mode of ones computer by setting something in the registry to "1" or something of the sort.

I'm not sure but i think it was posted by the Gentleman who posted the System.ini tweak.

I had A ubr 900 Cisco , I'm kind of upset I had to replace it because of the back of the modem was worn , so What happend was they ended up giving me a Surf Board3100.

Should I have kept the Cisco even though I was having problems ?

Why not just get a 7.1 / 1.5 Meg DSL connection ?
It's just as fast (Probably Faster) and costs 400 less, Is DSL available in your area ? , And If your willing to Pay For A T1 Why not just get A DS3 connection ?
