You can do it via telnet.
1.go to the command line
2.type telnet
3.at the command prompt type open 'space' then "name or ip of your incoming mail server" For me its "open mail.comcast.net".

I'm not sure what kind of "replacing of cables" they made that would have increased your loop length. If its true then I'm not sure that anyone can do a thing for you. The further you are away from the DSLAM the worse the performance can get. My suggestion: Call Comcast.

I have someone who used to be able to select 8 players when he started up Ghost Recon. Now he only gets an option for two players.The only thing that changed was he upped his bandwidth and got a new modem..Anybody seen this problem?
