I just passed 6 sobriety tests

Post by Grimson »

I think the cop that pulled me over was a little disappointed. :D I ate a few valiums but didn't drink but 2 beers all night. It was funny because she called for 3 other cops for backup.

1 of the cops she called gave me my tests and I've had runins with him before, he's a real **** but, tonight he was cool, I really don't understand cops sometimes.

Anyway I'm not in jail and I'm happy I'm not in jail.

Stu, please be careful, a "few Valiums" and a couple of beers is not a good combo to be driving on. Even though you passed the test you had to do something to arouse the cops suspicion.

I know things have been rough on you lately, but please think of others on the road with you.

To be very honest "I've been there, done that". After wiping out a car, and winding up in jail at different times, I realized I'd better be more careful before I killed someone and wound up in jail for life.

I'm not telling you this to be a dick, I telling you because I actually care about you and others around you.

I don't wanna see you get hurt.

No for real, it was a bull**** stop, It was the intersection beside the dodge store, the light flipped yellow right when I crossed the line(for you guys not from here, it's a kinda big intersection), the cop pulled up to the line right when I was going through it, she said the light was red but ask my brother, I know it was yellow.

Anyway, she would have pulled me over either way it went, I could have slammed on my brakes and came to a screaching hault or gone through it. There were no other cars on the road. I think I made a good call and so did my brother.

But I'll be more careful, i promise.

Stu...we arent worried about the arrest, as somehow I think they made the better call. However we are worried that you might kill yourself or end up in jail because you killed someone else. we dont want you to mess up your life...if you need help we are always here (well...SOME of us anyway)

and take your friend up on his advice.

stu Im not doubting your driving skills...however...even if you only drive 40 MPH on a 55mph if you hit someone in an intersection because your reaction time is slow (drugs do that). remember 25mph is all it takes to kill someone.

I fell asleep driving. I was on a back street doing less than 20mph. Not only did I run a stop sign, I ran over the stop sign. Then I had a freaking stop sign jammed underneath my car, dragging it around at four in the morning.

I had to figure out how I was going to get the sign out from under my car before I went home, so I decided to drive it out. I drove for about six blocks, shooting sparks and making LOTS of noise. I woke up half the damn world, I seen everybody's house light's come on as I drove by. :rotfl: It made a hole in my muffler and ripped a brake line on it's way out from under my car.

I'm lucky I didn't hurt myself or any one else in the process. I'm no angel by any means. I had to learn things the hard way myself. I just feel that if I don't at least try and warn a friend before they hurt themselves, then I'm not a friend in the first place.

I have many other horrible stories that really happened to me, so I'm telling you this now man, you are heading down a wickedly bad path mixing drugs, alcohol and a steering wheel.

I may lose some people's respect around here by admitting to all of this, but I'd rather lose the respect, then you lose your life.

Good advice Roundeye.

If people lose respect to you for being honest and getting into your fair share of mischief, then screw them anyways.

I was just on Percodan this past week. It says on the meds not to drive, etc, and they damn well mean what they say on the labels. If anything happens then your liable to be spending time in the slammers. Even if its prescribed to you. Just a heads-up Stu in case you get into any trouble.

i.e. someone causes an accident that your involved in. If they find that you've been on some meds that specifically say not to drive while on them...then your the one who's liable.

I have those stories too... I partied with my best friend for years and years eventually I just got to deep into it and had to stop. She never did - she is dead

my other friends that I partied with one is herione user and two has hiv

We partied hard and didnt care about the situations, we had suicide attempts almost monthly for one of us, I included in this.

We had a blast for a while, but ultimately it wasnt worth it.

I had a full ride to Ohio University for biology. I am 32 and still have not graduated from college- I will next June
I am awesome.

RoundEye, if I didn't know better, I'd say you and I are the same.

Stu, I think you get the point. If you haven't gotten the point yet. God help you when you do! It sucks, believe it. ;)

 STU,
I WILL BET I KNOW YOU BETTER THAN ANYONE ONE HERE. I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT THINKS YOU ARE AN EXCELLENT DRIVER, & TRUST YOU WITH MY LIFE. I WAS THRILLED TO GET THE CALL THAT YOU WERE OK, BUT STILL I AGREE WITH EVERYONE WHO ASKS YOU TO BECAREFUL. IF FOR NO OTHER REASON THINK ABOUT WHAT IT WOULD DO TO MY LIFE IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO YOU. ;)

One thing you have to remember always Stu, you may think u'r a good driver and may not care or be that concerned what may happen to you, but what about the other people on the road? If you get home fine one time doesn't mean something won't happen the next.

How would you feel if you were mixing drugs and alcohol and got in an accident with someone that had kids or something in the car? It's just not worth it.

If I go anywhere that I may be drinking, I don't drive at all. Whether it's a little bit or a lot, there's no point.
