You know what I hate?
You know what I hate?
Those friggin ads that go floating across your screen right in the middle of what you are looking at
And you can't close them or anything until they are done
Are we talking about the looping ad in the right side of the page that is linked here??

I don't think this is one cause it doesn't float.
Right click the ad and select properties (if the option is there) and post the URL. It may be stopped already here with AdShield if it's a 3rd party ad.
No floating ad at the Weather site BaLa.

I still don't see any floating ad at that site so it must be blocked.
Because AdShield blocks the first part of the address and not the complete URL it stops a large number of ads with one entry. This may be the case here. IE:
h!tp://image.weather.com/web/twc/common/animated_20th_anniversary_296x125.gif
will be entered:
h!tp://image.weather.com/web/twc/common
The rest is not needed to block the ad and any others that start with that URL.
Off to work now. It's 4.30am (EST Au). Back at 12noon.
Have fun.

Thats quite alright because advertising as an online business model is a sinking ship. Advertisers are slowly clueing into the fact that nobody pays attention to advertisements. Hey, at least they have jobs now. It hasn't been totally useless.Gosh fellows, for every ad you block, some poor sap gets laid off at Micron!
