I drove a Celica GT-S, not all that impressed. Did not have the power that the 180 bhp stat entails. Granted the engine only has 180 miles on it or so, so it might not have been broken it. Handling felt okay. 6 speed tranny was nice, real smooth and short throws for sure. A good car for its price, although you could be gettin a WRX with a decent amount of options on it for the price of a loaded GTS. I just "built" one, and the price was 24.3. Thats gettin real close to an RSX in price.

Those rims you see on those Celica pics up there are the exact same rims i'm getting from that guy for my '93 Celica GT, they are 2000 GTS 16" rims and new tires, that's the car they are from :)

I love my Celica, I definatly want a newer model, I drive the 5th generation model ('93 GT Coupe)

These cars are great, Toyota quality, last a long time, need little maintanance, and you CAN soupe em up that's the good part!!!!!!!1111111111 Great Handling

The new one i want is the 2002 Celica T-Sport, I believe it has 240hp stock, w00t

I don't know if there is a turbo for that generation or not, but here are 3 sites you MUST check out and can post on their forums

http://www.celica.net (i visit this one the most) Their Forum is GREAT

this one is great http://www.toyotacelicas.com/

a lot of people go here http://www.newcelica.org/

and of course each site links to lots of other celica sites

if you got any questions just ask me, I'm a Celica Fan :)

Here are pictures of the Wheels and Tires i'm getting all for only $550 TOTAL (that's with shipping) http://speedguide.net/~brent/wheels/

Here's some older pictures of My car, I need to update these: http://speedguide.net/~brent/celica/

I bet if you put an even BIGGER spoiler on the back, a bigger exhaust tip and some performance stickers on the windshield and fenders it'd go REAL FAST!!!!

Really, it's not bad. I suppose that car is pretty light, so it should be relatively quick. But I'll just never understand, if it's a front wheel drive car, why does it have a spoiler?

Well, generally, most high HP cars are RWD. I don't think strictly FWD cars can take as much HP, AWD usually can't either. It depends on the system. For road/rally racing, I'd take AWD. For drag racing, I'd take RWD.

Spoilers dont come into play until like 160 MPH or sumthin. Basicly for looks on all cars.

It depends on the car, but I'd be willing to bet that Celica can't even get past 130...

they keep your front end from flying up by adding more downforce on the car

when you hit high speeds your front end will start to rise, so with more downforce it keeps your car steady and on the ground so you don't lift off and have a bad accident hehe

Actually a rear spoiler keeps the rear down, so you get better traction. A front spoiler will do what you are describing.

It is a little bit better now. It is not going to get much better because the color of the car and the headlight are so similar. Anyway, I just uploaded it in place of the other one, so the changes took place in all the images.
