How secure do you feel in your manhood?
Would it be possible that your aggression toward gays is some doubt in your masculinity?
What does it prove?
"What is all the BS about gay rights?" you may ask.
IT is them so why should we care.

In the 1960's, Vietnam veterans returned from the war. They were spit on and called murderers. It was the mindset of time.

This does not only apply to gays.... think of others you despise for their differences.

Not you f00fa! the bashers!!! they don't fill their minds with creativity..or they lack the education as how to fill their minds with creativity...hence idle minds. The bashers need something better to do then just sit around on their butts coming up with ways to hate!

Yes but not every person who hates gays is a "gay basher"

In fact am willing to bet alot of wealthy "busy" humans are anti-gay for various reasons...

I think its almost 90% how the person in question was raised... Given time society will learn to live with such things and stop polluting thier childrens minds with hate... People arent born anti one race, ethnic bg, or sexuality... its taught

Contempt can be demonstrated on many levels. I used the term "gay-bashers" as a very general term.

I am amazed that the anti- mentality is still taught. Perhaps it is also in the pecking order. Children start at a very early age to establish dominance.

If you've ever listened to a member of the KKK you'll notice that there is no room for compromise, or change. Their brains can't handle the excess thoughts. What they've learned so far is all they can handle.

Compare the bashers to blind people, for instance.

look im not gay nor am i insecure about my manhood, but trying to make us all love gays or else we are gay post is not really fair is it!

i dont think i understand gays or there ways, and i would not let a gayman babysit my sons.

im not a we should kill all gays person, but felt the way you posted this was wrong.

And also a gay man would probably be a better baby sitter than some teenaged rebel.

am i a gay basher if i say i think what they do is dirty and wrong?

id have to know gay person years before i could trust them to babysit, but in all fairness id have to know anyone years b4 i trusted them to look after my kids.

I do not my intention for you to "love gays". There was a challenge for you to put some thoughts into your concepts of people. There was no "or else" in my post.

Would you ask your babysitter his or her sexual preference? Maybe you feel that all gay men are Christopher Lowell and you would come home to find your sofas and bedding done in batik? (I am joking!)

Bashing is one thing, opinion is another. When it comes to trusting someone with kids, "gay" isn't really the issue anyway, it's whether or not your kids are safe, or are perceived to be safe.

Excellent point. Labels tend to give fixed characterization of people, not unlike prejudices.

UOD and I do not see eye to eye on many topics, however if we both remain open minded, we learn from each other.

It upsets me to see teenagers these days (even though I am one) who call everything gay. If something is done wrong or stupid, It is suddently given the title of gay. I cant stand it when somebody calls another person gay, I have tried to correct them or tell them to stop, but its useless. I just continue on in my conversations.

I myself have NOTHING against gays. Mikemean and I are friends on these forums. I know some homosexual guys my age. There is nothing wrong with them! They are great, funny, intellectual people.

I know several men, boys at the time, who were sexually assaulted by men who were in their charge. These men were not Gays. They were fathers, husbands and business men who found a way to place themselves in a position of opertunity. Scouting was there method of having access to young boys. These perverts/sexual criminals were in no way gay, they were sick pedophiles who prey on the innocent.
As was said elsewhere in the thread a Gay man may be the best baby sitter you could ever find.
I do not condemn or condone homosexuality but to judge one for it is wrong. As with anyone else whom I meet, I will be the judge as to whether that person is worth having as a friend.

your other point about friends, if a friend came up to me now and said he was gay, i could not stop being hes friend, all the years we shared and so on, maybe i might even be more of a gay defender because of friendship.

but if someone asked me if i felt men on men was ok, ill still say no and explain that you attack a friend of mine you attack me, nomatter what hes or she is.

therefore after typeing this, i have learned something, i dont agree with it but yet i dont hate them.

one more point, why have men got a Gspot in there ass, makes u think really maybe god and all the rules in life are wrong and nature has placed it there for a reason.

No, these men were pedophiles, there is a distinct difference, as i said in my post, most of them were husbands and fathers

Thats cool, because friendship wieghs far more in my books then sexuality

I have 100% love and compassion for the person, Jesus says we should love the person and not the sin. It's not our place to judge anyone based on any kind of preference, this will be done when you die, for right now on this earth love the person, hate the sin. Of course it is hard to seperate the two, but we must strive to. And yes I believe same sex's loving the same sex is evil, that is the sin. But there is no reason for hatred or cruelty, those are sins as well. If someone is gay we should still love them as a person and stuff, but keeping in mind the gayness part is the evil part, and that evil part is from noneother then the Devil himself.

People are right, Teens call everything that is bad, "gay", (Including myself, which I am not proud of, but u hear it every damn minute in conversations, its hard not to say it).

But also, I don't teens really mean it to be derogatory towards homosexuals, its sorta like a "general slang" term nowadays.....@ least I think so.....

Personally, I think homosexuality is just wrong, but being a homosexual doesn't mean you are "different", just means u have a different view on sexuality identity.....but homosexual men will still like the same things as "straight" guys like cars, comps, sports, etc. So I see no reason why I or anyone "straight" guy would disklike a homosexual man.

An a$$ is an a$$, skin colour, culture, religion, sexuality does not play a role in whom my friends are.

I have nothing against gays... *but* I dislike gay men just as they dislike women.. (in a SEXUAL WAY, bastards!) There is only one gay person whom I truly hate.. and that is this gay guy in my neighborhood. We were friends (I knew he was gay... and that didn't scare me)... until he started to hit on me through AOL.. saying he couldn't wait until I was 18 and crap.. WTF... I swear to god he was saying stuff that was frightening me.. At first I laughed along.. but when I saw him he would blow kisses at me and everyone started thinking I was gay too! Do you know what that means?! No more girls!?! OMFG,,, Anyway.. So I confronted him.. and asked him WTF was up.. (on AOL btw.. lol) and he said that I was really cute, he likes me and he couldn't hide that anymore.. I was like WTF... then he said some disgusting stuff and I just flipped. Cursed him out, told him not to friggin talk to me anymore.. omg.. I had to block all his screen names he was coming up with.. Jesus. Till this day he still gives me looks.. but I don't care... as long as he doesn't touch me I don't care. And I'm a grown man now.. I will truly beat the **** out of him like he was a grown man too. Stupid bastard. Anyway, I don't have anything against gays.. Just him.
