its a fuc**** cheat! if you want to cheat, i will not be the one to help you, sorry.

most servers have cheat protection (CSHP) to prevent aimbots from being used.

I'm with these guys...Cheats ruin the game for EVERYONE. If you are going to cheat, do us all a favour and cheat offline. When you cheat online, u ruin it for everyone else playing.

The next day came and instead of being Mr. tattletale I instead decided to uninstall the game and make a coaster out of it.It seemed that if I had to police those very hard-core people on the ladder, what were the regular games like? Too much BS for me.Since then i refuse to play any rts or tbs strategy games on-line. Too much time put into a single game to find in the end you've been cheated.
I dont expect everyone to give up there favorite game because of cheats. I am however proponent of knowledge. I like to know how im being cheated.If you wanna see all those CS cheats go to PCgamehacks.com.Oh yea spiked models is there, aimbot, autoshoot,cracked asus drivers,all of these work if you have a good enough machine(aimbot is a little taxing on your machine).Now i dont advocate using any of these cheats, knowledge of them will sometimes explain the unexplainable. Lots of CS players have altered there smoke sprites and flashbang sprites rendering YOURS ineffective.
Sorry boys i hope i havent let the cat out of the bag, but im all for an even playing field.Your best bet though is to play at a punkbuster server.Or better yet play tribes its a better game with fewer cheats. Tribes 2 will be out end of the month and it will rock the gaming world, A game by which all future games will be compared.(and surely it will have cheats)Thats the way thing go I guess.

I did a quick search on a popular engine for "game cheats", "Q3 Cheats", "UT Cheats", and "CS Cheats"

I got the fricken book thrown at me.
I don't like cheats either and play on servers that protect against it.
Aimbots are lame, especially on rail only servers (Q3).
I thought the post before yours was informative.
I would never run a cheat and look down on those that do.
But for you to look down on him for sharing his experience with it is rather lame in itself.
Another thing, please don't quote the ENTIRE message. Pick a portion, or just respond.
It is not necessary for all of us to read the post twice and you didn't really make that good of a point anyway. It's out there and ANYONE can find it.
Be glad that this particular person asked here and found out that it was a cheat and disliked before D/Ling it.

Well COOLJ obviously you didnt read the post. No I dont like cheaters, but as i said I am a pro-ponent of knowledge.You obviously know what an aimbot is, I bet your one of those guys who wants a monopoly on those cheats.Knowledge of cheats in itself isn't a bad thing. It's what you do with that knowledge that makes a difference. I didn't post the link to try and stop cheating(DUH obviously)but why should one person have the cheat and not another.My point is lets even the playing field and make people aware of cheats that are being used against them. It can be very frustrating when you dont know how youre being cheated. Finally COOLJ youre deluding yourself if you think youre gonna get a cheat free public game in Counterstrike.Play punkbuster if youre REALLY worried about cheats.You might be suprised how well you can do in a cheat-free environment.

i disagree, but whatever floats your boat. if they want knowledge of a cheat, there are many demo's that prevent the use of cheating, including the aimbot.

Ok you say why should one have a cheat and not the other (so if 1 person cheats we all should be able to), but then your saying U dont like cheating, u just want people to be aware of it...

Even the playing field? Most people dont cheat, id say 15% of people cheat. Just cuz other people cheat dosent mean you have to. I agree, I bet theres a cheater on every CS server, But it ends up being obvious and they get the boot.

I just feel theres more non cheaters then cheaters, and we should try and keep cheaters to a low.

Making people aware of cheats is cool, But u can do it without sending out pages with cheats. A little tempting dont you think?

As for cheating, it is going to happen whether you try to keep people from posting addresses to cheats. As I said, we probably stopped someone from trying a bot and that is good. Let it go big guy.
I bet if I posted about a new exploit in security, you would try it. You being the "reformed hacker" that you are.
I think you have either run bots / cheats or still do.

I used to play just about ever FPS but I just don't have the time and Q3 has always been the easiest to fire up and has fast gameplay all the time.

LoL When I 1st came here, I thought I was this leet hacker because I could use netbus. Ive grown out of that realzing it was stupid, and I wouldnt like to be netbused by anyone else myself. And that it took no skill and my grandma could probably use it. BUT If you did post a exploit, Id try it. It would be nice if everyone just "Tried" cheats instead of using them frequently.
I can honestly say, I HAVE NEVER EVER EVER Run bots or cheats! Id swear on that too! I hate cheaters way too much to even try one, plus it makes the game absolutely no fun. Wow I can give a headshot everytime, how action packed

I think you are an alright guy.
As for the rails, yeah it takes skill, that's why I like it.
Plus it is really easy to find the bots.

As for CS, yes you would whoop me, I think I have only played about 4 times.
Anyway man, take it easy and practice on those servers.

Great servers, really fast. They are my new home.

I havent been playin Quake as much because I got addicted to CS. But I USE to be half way decent.

Yeah man, those are the servers that Banshee's clan play on. I play on both versions. I spend most time on the 1.17 FFA server and then the 1.27 CTF.

I got some killer screenies of me kickin' Banshees' butt again.

NEVER BUY an MS Optical mouse. I have had 2 and both got FunKed within weeks.

Got with Logitech for Optical Mice.

Gonna kick in a couple o 2 cent peices here

1. The 1.17 side of that server should be taken off and upgraded to 1.27. As how right now that I am aware of 1.17 is the only version that nopbot can be used with. I have not heard of a working version gone public with 1.27 of the infamous nopbot. So, the reason why the 1.17 server is probably more crowded, more bots.
2. The worst thing about nopbot is that it would be easy easy to use and not get caught. I do not actually have the nopbot, but I am familiar with how it works. It is instant on instant off. You bind a key to +button6 then when you hit the key it aims at the nearest target, then you release the key and aiming stops. This would be too easy to hide. Unless you ran around on the server holding down the button, no one would know. Thats why Nopbot is so undetectable. You just wait till you really need a frag and blink, press n click, one more frag for ya. Also on a rail only server that is FFA, yeah there is no way you would detect it, unless they were holding down the button and getting 100+ frags or something. So that is my view on that.
3. You guys ever play RA3?
4. A debate we have been having since Q2, rails only vrs all weap. Both contain skill, but all weapons is harder then rail only. With rail only you start with 1 gun and one shot you get a frag. Now with RA3, its not that different, but adds alot of different factors. I personally have never been a fan of rail only. To me it gets boring after about 1-2 maps. With more then 10 people it turns into absolute mayhem where getting 2 frags with one shot is common place and its kinda just random firing. Im not bashing on rails only, its just not my thing. Anyhow, mebbe will try to stop by that server. Just wanted to add my view of bots n such.

hi all...im new to the forum

just like to say as a veteran UT player that aimbots suck horribly. of course some(including myself) get accused because of our incredible aim. there are people that combat the aimbots for UT now though...there are bugs but it is effective
