He will try like hell but he won't fix much... this is stuff thats been in the workings for the last 10+ years....the flying of planes into buildings didn't help it thats for sure. He will have his try for 4 years then someone else will likely jump in give it a shot which by then projections are things will level out.
I would have to be anyone of relation to him at this point mostly his kids... look at what they will now have to go through from all the security.

The unhinged, rapturous glee I've been seeing on TV the past week over Obama makes it obvious how easily an antichrist-type figure can achieve power. Bring in a "transformational" figure as things look dire and people will loose their convictions and beliefs to follow the new hope to the promised land. When it becomes clear that Obama can do very little due to the entrenched political establishment, it will be fun to watch the apologetics.
(And...I'm NOT saying Obama IS the antichrist...just to preemptively assuage some of you)

Nothing wrong with having that as an opinion, but there has to be something that drives that opinion. Is it wishful thinking like Burke stated or something in particular that he has done before he is President that drives you to think this?Sava700 wrote:Thats my opinion...
and no burke, I informed myself of my opinion thus being "informed" as for wishful thinking I bet you wish you were sitting in seat #1 with a tin foil hat on huh.
The press has undoubtedly put a crazy amount of pressure on the idea of a Obama presidency. Unfortunately for Obama I seriously doubt he can achieve what is being expected of him. That said he can certainly be very successful.Burke wrote:The unhinged, rapturous glee I've been seeing on TV the past week over Obama makes it obvious how easily an antichrist-type figure can achieve power. not wishful thinking at all.. I hope he does well but I only see him in it for 4 years that's all.Roody wrote:Nothing wrong with having that as an opinion, but there has to be something that drives that opinion. Pretty much what I was saying only put differently.Burke wrote:The unhinged, rapturous glee I've been seeing on TV the past week over Obama makes it obvious how easily an antichrist-type figure can achieve power. not much will change IMO,bottom line is,he's still just a politician, which I put on the same level as lawyers.Roody wrote:The press has undoubtedly put a crazy amount of pressure on the idea of a Obama presidency. *these are only my opinions*
There isn't a full answer?? I just don't think he will go longer than 4 years. Its a well informed opinion I'm allowed to have. I hope he does well these next 4 years.Roody wrote:Forgive me Sava, but you didn't really answer the full question. What makes you think he will be there only for 4 years?
Of course you are allowed to have it, but you still aren't answering the question. You stated it's an informed opinion and that it's not wishful thinking. What I am asking you is what is the basis for this opinion? What specifically do you think he will do that will prevent a 2nd term? That's the part you aren't answering. The way you are currently stating it you just think he won't be re-elected, but you aren't saying why other then saying "because".Sava700 wrote:There isn't a full answer?? Not trying to pick on you Sava I am only asking for a clarification of your own remarks.

QHow well informed? The guy hasn't even gotten into office, there are 4 years of speeches and events that need to take place before we can judge if he deserves another term.Sava700 wrote:There isn't a full answer?? Actually I'm really worried about Obama's security. If something were to happen to him, there would be some civil unrest.
The numbers ( if you are into that kind of thing), show reason to be alert.
I can give you one instance.
Obama is the 44th president.
MLK was killed on 4/4.
There are more , but I;ll save it for the conspiracy sub-forum.

But Obama is only half black so that counts as 22 points only, not 44.knightmare wrote:Actually I'm really worried about Obama's security. If something were to happen to him, there would be some civil unrest.

Yea like Kennedy was killed on the 22nd. 11/22YARDofSTUF wrote:But Obama is only half black so that counts as 22 points only, not 44.
Barack Obama has 11 letters in his name.
Our world is based on numbers, while you made a nice stab at ridiculing me,
you only pointed out something different.

LOL omg.... I have a well informed gut feeling then.. he will get one term and thats it. I hope he does well in these next 4 years but I don't see much after that. My God its like you live to argue with me for some reason..Roody wrote:Of course you are allowed to have it, but you still aren't answering the question. Sava you just don't get it. I am not arguing with you. I am merely asking you to clarify your statement. You stated you had some well informed opinion before he even became President. Naturally you can't really have that so I asked you to explain your point.
Nothing more, nothing less.

dude... let it go.
there is no clarify of statement...there is no explaination, it is what it is...a opinion.

I think YoS' last remark said it best. You bungled your words and we asked for a clarification. For some reason you took that as a sign of disrespect. It wasn't at all.Sava700 wrote:*sigh* is right...

You don't know when to stop do ya?? I already told you thats all your going to get.... do you wish to continue to derail the thread for me and you to argue again? If you didn't like the answer I gave you then sorry for your luck.Roody wrote:I wasn't looking to start an argument with you Sava. But again.... LET IT GO!
You are overreacting to a simple question Sava. Sorry you took it the wrong way.Sava700 wrote:You don't know when to stop do ya?? I can see why this board has died.
People have over the years developed a opinion and/or some type of animosity towards each other, and it repeatably surfaces through different threads & replies.
