Yet here we have the city of Denver, newly sprung from legislative and judicial restraint, rounding up pits over the past couple of days and killing them like rats during The Plague.
I have to wonder what kind of moronic *******s came up with this idea, and how much they'd like it if I personally "neutered" them.
So trade that typical for something colorful, and if it's crazy live a little crazy!
Thats a horrible thing to do, not to mention so ignorant its laughable (but im not laughing). Has nothing to do with the breed of dog, it has to do with how it was brought up/treated..
what a raw deal. Thats horrible...the least they could do would be to give the animals to a neighboring town or something.

Ok some of ya are gonna neg rep me here but I am gonna give ya my opinion on pitbulls.
to my knowledged ( limited) They attack and kill kids more than any breed of dog. I think that they are similar to owning a wolf ( prolly worse).
I am not really sure how animals are considerd domesticated pets, but I think pitbulls should be protected and left to the wilderness. seems there is always some crackhead that owns a pitbull which they neglect and it ends up hurting kids.
I dont agree with the denver law IMO itsTOTALLY RETARDED I think its crap!
Peeps who own licensed pittbulls should get to keep them and simply stop issuing licences for pittbulls.

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box .
my dog is half pit, shes the sweetest thing. I think the people that breed pitbulls to be fighting dogs should be the ones that are dealt with more extremely, not the dog breed.

Randy if pits were outlawed everywhere then it would just be another breed of dog. In general there are numerous other breeds that attack more than pits. It is just more people who would train a dog to attack, beat, neglect, or do not bother to socialize a dog own pits

I wouldn't give u a negative rep for posting your opinion,but I think they could do it differently. Perhaps making Sales of the animals illegal from "This point forward" or taking possession of one after the passing of the law. Grandfathering the animals already owned , would have been a more humane way of handling things. Yes some drug dealers do train those dogs for the wrong purposes, but there are families out there that have them just for pets. Believe it or not but Dalmations are said to be the worst for family pets, yet they are one of the more popular breeds. To kill a family pet like that is plain wrong.
