Put a lid on it

Post by Chris »

Boss called today, my topper was being unloaded, so off i go to pick it up.
I love it, looks just what I wanted.
At cost, less gas he owed me, less my old snow tires from my car they bought off me for the service van, less my remaining holiday pay I chose to not take at layoff, plus clamps and tape and tax.
Only had to hand him $300. Woot
Actual cost to me before all the minuses, $850
I love new toys :)

I'm not a fan of the cap. However, it fits right in to your weather. If I had my choice, I'd put a fiberglass bed cover on. It really improves the gas milage and makes it look very slick.

Also, have you had Rhino Lining put in?

Cap improves gas milage the same amount as a lid.

[cynic] Wow, great more surface to wash and wax [/cynic]

:D

Nice campers make a truck so much more flexible IMO. You can stuff things in there and haul em in bad weather and not worry about the new 40" television gettin hosed in the rain. Only drawback is gettin tall objects in there, but the pluses outweigh the negs in the overall scheme I think.

I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.
