Say there is a file, example
http://home.cogeco.ca/~wbastien/rollercoaster1.avi if I click on it, the OK button is greyed out and I can't click it. I can't "Open With" or "Save to Disk" does anyone know a fix to this problem? Everything works in IE but not in Mozilla Firefox.

Did you just install firefox? open the tools menu and select options. Goto the downloads section and see if its set to auto save files to a certain folder.

Did you try manually setting your download destination? Tools>Options>Downloads ?
I have not seen nor heard of this before.

Save you bookmarks, then uninstall Firefox, delete all the files and registry keys, then try again, this is a very weird item.

I don't think it's a versioning thing - I've looked around and no one I know has heard of this. Your install got hosed somehow.

It must be storing the bookmarks somewhere, I uninstalled, restarted and installed and they came back.

Sorry - you need to be in the bookmark manager first. From a regular browser view - >Bookmarks>Manage. Then File>Export
I see from another post that it worked out for you anyway.
Can you now download?

Hmmmm - means it may not be over-writing any problematic files either...

Have u uninstalled it, deleted the files left in program files/mozilla firefox, and deleted the files in documents and settings/user name/application data/mozilla ?

That was my next question.
Certain registry cleaning programs can cause this problem to happen. Same with an extension blowing up a profile.

Thanks for the help everyone, I got it working, the bad file or option was stored in Application data and when I deleted it everything was good. Thanks again!
