ok guys 2 hds a burner and cd rom.
is it better to have the hds on same eide or mix em cos i heard if you have both cds on same eide it messes up our burning
easy ?
if you doa lot of disc to disc copying then put your cdrom drive and cdrw drive on different cables
I.E. put one hard drive and cdrom on one cable, and the CDRW and the other hard drive on the other cable
but if you don't do a lot of cd to cd copys then you can put the cdrom and cdrw on the same cable just fine, and you can always tell it to not burn on the fly so it copies it to hard disk first
it's really up to you, depends what you do and how much you burn, i would definatly keep the cdrw off the main hard drive, or hard drive that has all the stuff you burn from's cable
