The old in and out

Post by eddiec »

I don't usually pass on sad news like this, but sometimes we need to pause and remember what life is about.
There was a great loss recently in the entertainment world. Larry LaPrise, the Detroit native who wrote the song, The Hokey Pokey, died last week at 83. It was especially difficult for the family. They had trouble placing him in the casket.
They'd put his right leg in and...well, you know the rest...

I hope someone told that at the funeral. I would have busted out laughing. Yeah funerals are sad, but you KNOW the dude would have loved that joke.

I thought of a different n-n-out BJS, along the movie line, did NOT expect the hokey-pokey tho.
