MTU question related to gamming

Post by ImPAcT »

hi

I've heard on other chat forms that if you lower the MTU its better for on line gamming.. Has any one else heard of this???
If so what would be a good value to set it to for online gamming? Is there any thing else to consider tweaking in TCP/IP settings for Online gamming(ie: mss, RWIN, etc...)??

If your wondering I'm wonting to get the best ping i can for Counter Strike...
