How much do we pay per gallon of WHITE OUT? over 3000 dollars!

One thing we've got is a sloo of natural resources up here in Canada and I wonder when the situation will get desperate enough for some other country to come try to get it. It's not like we can properly protect ourselves. In the hiarchy of needs, Food and water is pretty low on the pole, and when things really start to fall short in other coutries, who's gonna stop 'em from coming in to get it? We'll be an American state in the future, may be a while, but mark my words, it'll happen.

I'm reluctant to have kids due to what they'll actually have left when their my age. Besides material wealth, the standard of living is quickly going down hill. Greed prevails amongst the human species.

Like you said Martiongod, who would have thought water would eventually come at a price? Deadly organisms are showing up in our water supply already. Walkerton? This summer alone, many regions in Canada coast to coast have had to boil their water.

I'd call it an understated EPIDEMIC. without clean water, there is no life on this planet. Imagine spending half your paycheck on water for the week.

Well two blocks away is one of the largest reserves of freshwater in the world, my water bill for a month is roughly $60. Go in the store and a 10 ounce bottle of water is $1.25.

I have to wonder where it is all going to end.
If I had to pay $1.25 for 10 Ounces of gas I would never have a car again.

I drive by springs in ditches where trucks park and people fill jugs with water, put the jugs in cases then transport it to the grocery to be sold to idiots.
This whole phenom started with stupid people who wanted to look sheek and drink water out of pretty green bottles. Now everyone thinks the only water that is safe to drink comes in a bottle, shake your heads people, you have no clue where that water comes from. I can fill cases of water from my taps, as long as it passes inspection then I can sell it to stupid people for $1.25 for 10 ounces.
When you go to a restaurant for dinner, they will give you a glass of ice water for free, why in the world do stupid people pay for the water in the bottle at a restaurant???

But as a Canadian i do agree with sitosterol on the future. Our country will be raped by other countries for our water after they polute all that they have. And no sitosterol we will not be another state, we will be held hostage or killed for our water.
