Sometimes when one of the color cartridges is empty there will be a pop-up message box asking if you want to override the system and just print in B&W. There should be some way to override it. If not a message box then check the printer settings.

is it giving you any errors on the printer? Have you consulted the FAQ from the printer's builder on possible issues?

yeah just from first picture it doesn't appear proper driver is installed yet I do see a list of Win7 32 and 64 bit drivers on their site for it.

Try to uninstall the whole thing then reinstall drivers and so on.

is the printer set to default vs any other showing up?

How about you fire up teamviewer and let me or someone else remote in and look at it?

From the queue, (start>settings>printers; or similar) delete the doc pending print, (Right click on the printer with the doc and click delete doc, or similar) turn off printer and unplug the printer from your computer, uninstall/delete the printer from your computer, (maybe run a reg cleaner deleting any lines referring to that printer), Restart your computer, insert the printer disk and let it run, do Not connect the printer to your computer until it tells you to. When it tells you to connect your printer, turn printer on and give it a minute to boot, then connect (assuming it is a usb connection)...

One this to add.. as a heads up.. many times have I heard that printer refill kits, as well and generic printer carts are bad for printers as they clog up the printer. This actually is true, as my Wife bought some "generic" printer carts for my circa 1999 Cannon s540 and after a few prints those ink carts locked that happy old printer up solid.. just FYI..
