startup problem

hi could someone please help . the problem i am having is when i turn on my computer i get a black screen at the bottom of the screen it tells me to press the F1 to boot wich i have to do everytime to get to my normal screen someone told me it could be something that is not configured properly in the bios srcreen but they couldn't tell what it was can i get some help thanks.

need more info?

type of computer? custom built if so what motherboard? Does it do this all the time as in since you've had the computer or just all of a sudden? If all of a sudden what was the most recent thing you did or changed prior to it doing it?

the computer is a dell xps 630i its been doing this for about 3 weeks now and was all fine untill it was reformatted due to a virus its been a pain since.

Yeah you prob need to switch something with the hard drive setting in the Bios
