Even though it’s older hardware I have a brand new in the box Gigabyte board that takes Xeon processors. I opened it for the first time.
I need to know what you can tell me on Xeon processors.
I think it’s called a Prestonia. The board says it’ll take a mPGA 604 socket Xeon. How many pins is that, what is the common nickname and real name? What socket?
As you can tell I know squat about Xeon’s.
I need some info on Xeon processors

Yea I know It's older, but it's new and I can build one hell of a pc for cheap.
I already have a 4 port hardware radi card with 128 megs of onboard ram, a two channel raid card. Lots of roms, DVD and CD plus lots of other goodies, why let all that go to waste?
