Ok my modem was working somewhat ok until tonight. They only thing I did was reboot my modem and router and now when I get a call, my caller ID is not working. I've tried different caller ID software and none of them work. What could cause this and how can I fix it? I even tried re-installing my modem drivers but that didn't help.
thx
What went wrong

I haven't dealt with modems in ages.
Honestly with all the threads you've made about issues with caller ID this way I'd say just give up and answer it or don't.
Other than reinstalling the drivers and the software not much you can do. maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the card via device manager.

Dunno what to tell you here.....never really played with caller ID software...the little bit that I did was back when I bought a Micron Pentium 166mmx, Windows 95b, had an internal Diamon 33.6 modem and some telephony software that I fiddled with a little bit.
Does the modem appear to function OK doing other modem things?
I've seen you post a few times about this caller ID setup....no phones where you are with an LED screen on them that has caller ID?
