Barometric pressure differential for me. When we go from high to low or vice versa very quickly, I get a massive headache.

No more....I started shots for allergies a few years ago.

CD..you ever try benadryl to see if that helps?
The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.

Sounds like you need to be tested for allergies to blonds and red heads.

You really need to take an antihistamine. It will also help in keeping the inflamation down. If you stay inflamed too long, the inflamed area becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and a sinus infection will result.

If you are really that bad, can you take benedryl? My sister swares by taking Quercitin (with citrus bioflavanoids) that her allergies improve. It is known to reduce the histamine levels in the blood and a good source of vitamin c.

NeilMed Sinus Rinse FTW!!

http://www.neilmed.com/usa/sinusrinse.php

You can find it at just about any CVS / Walgreens or local pharmacy.

I'm highly allergic to any furry animals, dust, feather pillows, heavy fabrics, and/or pollen and I used to get chronic sinus infections on a regular basis ( 4 or 5 times per year for the past 10 years). Pills such as Claritin-D do nothing but dehydrate me.

I use the rinse almost everyday and I haven't had a sinus infection in over a year and when my allergies act up, it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.

I also use prescription flo-nase, but if I don't keep up with the sinus rinse it's not nearly as effective as it should be.

The rinse is not an immediate remedy, but rather a preventative measure that takes about 5 days to a week of regular use to really show results. Rinse twice a day during bad allergy seasons and you should be good to go.

It's common this time of year through fall, CD...

Condiser getting shots if you don't want to try an antihistamine.

Costco sells their version of Claritin for a song. 300 pills for something like 5 bucks.

Look for Lortridine.

The only problem I find with antihistamines is that they only work for so long and then they stop working.

I find the Quercitin with citrus bioflavanoids work well over time. They do reduce the histamines in your bloodstream.

So, CD, are you going to get some quercitin or not? It is a good anti-oxidant also. It is healthy for you.

What is your game plan?

Didn't you say there was mold in your office? Is it still there? That is your problem. Mold will mess up your sinuses.

I've been pretty damn miserable. Shitload of drainage which is collecting in my chest and making me cough my head off...it's great. On an upside I'll be making a new thread about some major (good) changes in my life :D
