I have my MP3s on my server and I stream them to my other PCs, both wired and wireless over my network. My wired computers have no problem, however...
My wireless laptops have problems streaming the MP3s. I use Winamp and I set my server to share files. I can listen to maybe a minute or two before the MP3 starts stuttering and eventually locking up/crashing Winamp. The higher the MP3 bitrate, the faster the problem occurs.
This router, the D-Link DI-624, supports 802.11g, as does my laptop. My prior configuration of an Asante Router and a Linksys Access Point running on 802.11b did not have this problem, and that was a slower configuration!
My question: Is there some sort of setting on the DI-624 that .. maybe .. will "increase the throttle" so my MP3s can be streamed without problems? Or am I putting too much stress on this router/WAP?

Any help is greatful.
edit: I should note any filesharing with the server with the wireless laptops normally results in latency. I can click on a folder and it'll take maybe five seconds to respond.
