IE Help.......Images are blurry.

Post by lansens »

I've been using Crazy Browser for a couple of years now and have had no reason to even open IE until now. The reason for me to start using IE is Beta 7. I really enjoy the looks of it and love the tabbed browsing. Before we get into the browser wars, I would like to mention that I have tried them all at one point or another. Now, let me get to the point. All the images and fonts are out of whack in IE7. I have tried to change the fonts size from medium to smaller, I have done everything I can possibly think of (which isn't a whole lot anyway). I was hoping I could get y'all to give me suggestions for what might fix this.

A little back ground on my machine. I am currently using a Dell 9300 with a nVidia 6800 Go Ultra with the latest Dell driver and running my resolution at 1920X1200.

How on earth are you getting 1920X1200 resolution on a laptop? Widescreen? If so, everything is skewed on a widescreen at a disproportionate resolution like that. The "proportionate" resolution is 1600x1200.

Yes, it is a widescreen laptop. I will try the 1600x1200 resolution. THX

OK, I tried that resolution and got the same result. I guess what I really need to know is the difference between Crazy Browser and IE. CB has clean images and fonts where IE does not.

The images issues is specific to your computer only, it's not an IE7 issue. Crazy Browser IS IE, it's a modified IE rendering engine, and likely it is not capable of using the IE7 engine just yet, or else you need to make some adjustments withing crazy browser.

IE7 is in beta. These types of issues are what a beta is for - I'd contact M$ with all your feedback.
anything is possible - nothing is free
