hi everyone, Internet is running great thankz to this site, PC is running nicely again due to this site.
Now what I need is a video card, it's a dell 2350, pentium4, 1.90Ghz, 768MB Ram.
It has 3 PCI slots, one is used by Modem.
2 are empty, I need a decent PCI card to use my Pinnacle Studio 8.10 to make some movies for our site.
right now we use the Linx usb adapter since we only have an analog Panasonic camera(VHS-C).
i was looking around and found that PNY, ATI and another comapny have 128MB PCI cards.
just need suggestions from the experts here.
and what is a reputable retailer?
thanks
Nivo
PCI Video Card - Dell 2350 PC
If you want a reputable retailer, use NewEgg.com. Great prices and a lot of items have free shipping.
Now, I'm confused, do you want a video card for capturing video from an analog source(ie video camera) or a video card just to use as a video card?

I just want a video card, right now it has the intel onboard video.
there is no video card on this machine.
[edit]here is the search for video cards at NewEgg. Change the "Slot Type" to PCI and search. For some reason linking to the searched page wasn't working.
There are a lot of PCI cards, but you need to remember perfomance isn't going to be great since it's PCI. It'll be better than onboard, but don't expect great gaming and so on. If you just want it for some video editing, a PCI could do that.
Seems to me for lower end PCI nvidia is the way to go. Maybe a GF4 MX440 would be good enough.
