We got passed by a bunch of teams that cheated. Its gonna be hard to keep up with some of these guys.

A lot smarter then that...although Im sure others have done that. They uploaded a file to an IRC Bot that claimed to be a "PhotoShop Crack" and tons and tons of people downloaded and installed it. It was actually a stealth installer for one of the Macintosh teams that automatically put the team number and user name. They caught them but they didn't take their Standings away, just their points. Even tho they passed us after being caught cheating they didn't put them back where they belonged.

Hey all...

I'm still folding for 15 even though I haven't been on the forums much lately.

Soon I'll be adding a box to fold 4 units at a time. :thumb: I also keep forgetting to turn folding back on on my gaming rig. Maybe I need a sticky note for that..... :rtfm:

Very nice Izzo!!

My production slipped over the past week as my net connection wasn't working half the time. Couldn't get the results sent away and grab another unit most of the weekend. :( Things are back to normal now though. :thumb:

Im thinking there's a program out there that will monitor each cpu if they are on the same network. Just can't remember what it's called. Im sure someone here will know.

Just add a little negativiety to your post, like this:
got another 2.4 Ht yesturday you bastards!
That should solve the rep problem. :thumb:

makin a custom profile that will have nothing running except the needed services to fold like a mofo

a limited account should be fine to fold with right?
and what services should be left going? the less the better, more room and cycles for foldin!

^^^Bump^^^

Need some more peeps to step up to the plate.....this week I had to pull about 5GHz from my farm...as the (soon to be) ex-wife,and kid moved out of my house. Their machines went with them.

So I might not catch Pieman in a few weeks. :( And I might have to give up the #1 spot in daily production.

Any possibility that she will allow the programs to continue running on their machines? It is such a worth cause...I would hope she would take that into consideration.

I dunno...I don't want the bother of having to install it back, and occasionally check on it. She won't want the bother of checking it, or having me over there to set it up either.

In a few weeks I'll have some of that GHz recaptured...we're replacing our mail server at work...dumping the old Quad Xeon (only 500MHz each) Proliant 7000 fire breathing dragon (it's so big...the city street lights dim if I reboot it :D ) with a new Xeon 2U server, 3.4 GHz I think. I'll get one instance on that rig. :D
