TCP/IP Analyzer readings
Installed, configured, still the same.
I think the question now is, whether the reading I got from the analyzer really reflects to how the performance of my cable is? With my RWIN reading as such, is the system really configured as such? How could I confirm besides the analyzer that the RWIN that I set in the registry works or not? Maybe the analyzer is unable to read my RWIN properly, but could it be that the RWIN is still working as what I set in the registry?

Hi cablenut, I was wondering how you do this TCP sniff on the output? Care to enlighten me?Originally posted by cablenut
Philip the Analyzer has reported my RWIN as 2048 for about the past four to five months, before that it reported my RWIN correctly. When I did a TCP sniff on the output I noticed my first SYN packet had a window advertised as 2048. I noticed you get the MSS by setting the TCP MSS (Code 2) option field correct?
