Far, far, far worse. Let's be real here JBrazen. You may not like Obama's policies, but no one questions the man's intelligence. The guy is smart. There is no doubt about that. Palin on the other hand is friggin stupid. The Republican party has some very smart people who would be good options. Palin would be an awful option. I mean truly terrible. As in the worst option this country has ever seen kind of thing.JBrazen wrote:LMAO You say that is if she could do a worse job that this clown Obama has done.
What has Obama done?
What does intelligence have to do with anything? Look at how "smart" he supposedly is yet he's doing a horrible job of running this country and an even worse job at choosing the people to surround himself with. He may be "smart", but he's got the judgment skills of a lemming.
As far as Palin goes, you don't accomplish what she has while being "friggin stupid". Now she does come across as an ignorant sounding redneck at times, but she's far from stupid. She's got more Executive Management experience than Obama, especially since he had zero/zilch/nada, and this country fell for his Hope and Change nonsense hook, line and sinker.

So let me ask you directly...do you support Obama's assassination program as well as indefinite detentions? Do you support his decisions to create a surge in Afghanistan to combat AQ and The Taliban?
Let's start there. Do you support them...yes or no?
It has a whole lot to do with things. Like I said you think he has done lousy, but he's still very smart. That's something we know for certain. Palin education wise is not even close to being anything special. She would be a FAR worse option than anything we have ever seen.JBrazen wrote:What does intelligence have to do with anything? I don't know about you, but intelligence in the Oval Office for me is a must. Unfortunately, she's about 11 bricks shy of a dozen.

It seems that some people don't want a smart president. That they rather have one they can relate to personally.

I usually avoid political threads but…….
I feel sorry for the man, the eyes of the world are scrutinizing him hard. He’s our first black president, he inherited a country with a failing economy and at war.
No matter what he does at this point, somebody’s going to bitch about it. He has some large shoes to fill, that the clown before him left. I’m still of the mindset that the Bush era was the worst presidencies for this country ever. Over time he’ll probably be remembered for the couple of good things he has done but he sure did leave one hell of a mess for Obama to clean up.

Sorry, I may have mis-worded what I meant. I was implying that in Obama's case, intelligence isn't doing him any good as far as being a leader goes because he isn't a very good one. I didn't mean to imply that intelligence isn't needed in the White House.Roody wrote:It has a whole lot to do with things. Like I said you think he has done lousy, but he's still very smart. No worries man I understood what you were saying. I just tend to agree with RoundEye's most recent statement. Obama hasn't been great, but IMO he had a terrible mess to clean up. Not sure anyone else could do any better following the mess that Bush left. I know that comes across like a copout, but there is a lot of truth to that statement. Bush destroyed this country internationally and in so many other ways.JBrazen wrote:Sorry, I may have mis-worded what I meant.
