Just because the Jews were the chosen people of God doesn't mean they're all good folks -- corruption runs as rampantly in the top levels of the Israeli government as it does in our own. So not all of the counter arguments are due to anti-Semitic bias or being an apologist for persistent Islamic sabre-rattling; some of it is hard-to-swallow, but it's still truth.

what i predicted exactly...a false story creating problems...specifically from conspiracy theorists which is what causes most of the antisemitism in the world in history as it is..all from false conspiracy thoeries happened so many times over history

i am tired of the chosen people being thrown in my face, have had 3 different people here at SG say that to me several times now.

I never said they are perfect, have said several times no govt is perfect, but there is a huge double standard applied to israel vs say Iran and it ok for them to publish on a dialy basis nazi cartoons and wipe israel off the face of map?

What is at issue is the reflection of Israel to world wide Jewry. It is true that she is as corrupt as any other nation, however any evil commited is parsed as corroborative to the vile machinations of all Jews. Hence, the ridiculous paranoia of many of "G-d's chosen" The dichotomy between any nation's government and its people should be recognized.

What would be cheaper is if ANY country in the ME or the region would come clean on any WOMD they may have and destroy them all.

Do you know the definition of a double standard? A double standard is when you have ideals and rules for one group and another when it comes to another group.
You have a double standard when it comes to people of your own religion. You act as though a muslim should not be insulted when it comes to images of their prophets but if someone has the opinion that the Holocaust was not as bad as its made to seem you would want them thrown in jail merely for having a different albeit ignorant opinion. Its not like your people have never taken to violence before to protest something they disagreed with.

Its simple at this point. You take the Israelis and the Palestinians out of the equation totally and let the UN decide what is going to go where and who gets what.Since neither one is going to be fair and after all its the UN's fault for messing things up in the 40's without considering the Palestinians. Jerusalem should be placed under International governance with a board of directors from each and every faith represented there.

It works both ways. 1 major conflict and they pull out. They are only investing because the situation has eased lately. Hamas did not have anything to do with that attack. They just didn't disapprove of it. Thats the reason why their people voted them in. They want people to represent them not kiss someones butt after they just bombed the hell out of them and knock down a few of their homes. When was the last time you disapproved of an assasination, a house razing or a missle launch? never, so what makes them different from you? Should they be thanking the government for killing their children? Dude if I lived over there and they killed my kid..I'd do the same damn thing and I'd take out as many as I could before I go down. As would any other parent here. Oops sorry we were aiming for a terrorist and we accidently hit the school, just doesn't cut it.

Their cease fire happened WAY before Israel and everyone else tried to cut them off at the knees so don't even go there.
