My X got us evicted from more places than I care to remember..gambled his checks on the horses..and we had small kids. Yes I was very stupid when I was younger..we all learn from our mistakes we hope.

IMO it does'nt have to be drugs or gambling,etc,etc,to get into financial trouble,

ignorant spending can easily do it,
1)not shopping right
2)un-necessary clothing
3)going "out" too much
4)not saving
5)too much credit debt
6) not budgeting ahead
etc
etc
simple things like that are the most common problems IMO.
and money is the most argued about topic in most marriages.
