Release date is today...most stores will have it in by end of day when their shipments get it in like EB game and gamestop

Best Buy and other big retailers very rarely get new releases day it comes out

I do not one of those stores here in Cape Breton. The closet we have to a computer software/game retailer is Wal-Mart and they haven't heard of the release date or the game for that matter. I'd have to drive a 9 hours round trip to Halifax to pick it up at a Future Shop and that might be a wasted trip if they don't have it.

i don't think it supports cross-platform play. I'm bummed becaus I would like to get it on the xbox, but all the SG peeps play it on the PC.

BTW Burke, what are you're impressions of the 'box and Fable? Any plans of getting a Live subscription?

ROFL. Okay, and now the explanation???
I had assumed that since you were asking about cross-platform compatibility that you were considering the xbox version.

BTW how much for Fable ?

I decided I didn't want it after all, and Gamestop won't let me return it since I already opened it.

Fable is unopened, so $35
