All kidding aside, it's wrong on many levels but I don't think it's ebay's responsibility to ensure that stupid people be protected from themselves.
That's kinda what's wrong with America these days.. It started a long time ago with McDonalds and the "Warning: Coffee is HOT" labels. The preparation H "For external Use Only", etc..
It goes against nature's rule of survival of the fittest.. You don't see Lions sharing food with their weakest sibling just because he's too stupid to hunt on his own..
In turn, stupid lion either learns to live on his own, or dies, thus cleaning out the gene pool a little and ensuring that Lions hunt on their own from now until extinction by ignorant humans..
If this person wants to poor hot coffee on their groin, or eat perparation H or bid a hundred dollars on a box, that's on them. Not me or ebay..
"Go ahead kid, stick the fork in the wall socket"... Sometimes you have to learn the hard way.. If it costs someone 600.00 to understand that being able to read is important, than it's money well spent..
I know, that's a silly analogy but hey "to the buyer beware" has probably been around as long as prostitution and scams.. It's actually great advice for both, I would imagine..
