Final Case Badge Attempt

Post by A_old »

Hey, per Philip's post in the case badge thread, here's another go at it. 600x600 resolution with 600 dpi.. total remake, again..I hope it looks better this time (took more time..the large arch is a pain in the booty). I must admit I do prefer my other one. I think it looks better. shrug. I'm happy either way..I'll post both and you guys decide (and philip, i think you should have the main vote..)

This is the "newest" one:

This is the "older" one (my vote is here):

definitely like it. good show, Amro (you hairy, sexy beast).

the only thing i feel would be better is capital letters in the main "sg". i know it doesn;t directly corrospond with the "speed guide.net" logo, but i think it makes a bolder statement. even better would be [SG], but that's just from memories of the SG Q3A server running here for a short while some time ago.

actually, i don't think it needs any changes. looks good the way it is. the above paragraph is just randon thoughts.

I vote for your old one. I like it better because it is more defined. I like that in a case badge. Image

good job on all of them. the second one definitely looks better on the screen. When printed in true case badge size (1"), the fonts are a little harder to read. Of course maybe I'm just getting poor eyesight in my old age :)

Yeah, I am thinking about how these are going to look at 1". Are you really going to be able to see the detail plus the bottom SGnet thing?

Just my thought.

They look very awesome though, Amro! :)

ty all, i think the old one will look better at that size tho...the small background numbering is too bright on the new one..it'll fuzz it up

mmmm..... nah, it's cool. i was just kind of thinking out loud. just throwing out ideas, but not saying they're better in any way.

seems by the general consensus you're already on the right track.

i mean, if you would like to see what it looks like with caps, you can give it a shot. but, don;t put in a bunch of effort on behalf of my mindless babbling. i think they look sharp as they are :) .
