because of the graphics?

seriously I played both dod and bf1942... bf1942 is great.. it has great visuals.. lotsa fun to play with.. all these vehicles and what not... but DOD is very fun too.. more intense even tho graphically lacking..

The only thing that is different is that there are more idiots in bf1942 than in dod... Well maybe bf1942 is mroe team oriented in which if you are good in dod.. u can take on a whole team by yerself..

all in all.. both great games.. but I'd take bf1942 anyday because of grpahics and drivable vehicles - idiots = great games..

That's only because BF is out as a free demo and much easier to get. DOD, I believe, is a mod. You have to do more 'work' to get it running, and you have to buy the actual game first.

Once BF is for sale, there will be less idiots because most will not spend the $50 to just fool around.

I sure hope so.. if the game is as bad as it is in the demo.. it's prolly not worth the money..

just imagine.. 16 tkers and campers vs 16 tkers and campers.. haha

wow, DOD is 1000000000000000 times better, of not for the netcode then the great community.....i mean common BF1942 is a AWERSOME game very fun, but even if your on the north american backbone its still laggie, even if your ping is 30 its still lagie, now DOD uses HL witch uses the Q2 engine, and the Q2 netcode, old yes, fast? O YES! if you have a decent connection its like playin on a lan..
