ok i had enought of win 2000 and now i have installed win 98 se

heres the tcip resalts

im still getting slow speeds????

on microsoft i was only getting 25 kbs?

even on newsgroups im only getting 50 kbs??

heres my specs:

1mb cable connection
athlon 1.2
win 98 se
393 mb ram

Is your NIC any good, do you have lastest driver for it, do you have spare one




Win 2000 is alot better than 98SE

I think your NIC is bad, 98SE is faster than that out of box, use another NIC and put Win 2000 back on, coffee
