does this suck or what?

ok well i was in class today andi got called on to answer a question on the board... so i went up and put up the answer...well it turns out to be wrong ... but after the teacher asked me again gthe light clicked and i knew the answer i had jus interpreted it wrong ... so then i proceeded to give him the right answer and he said" yes exactly, but i will have to lower ur grade since u now kno what u did wrong..." so im like" wait .. i jus misunderstood the ? and i gave u the right answer cuz now i understand it" he says" well since u fixed ur problem im lowering ur score becuz u realized what u did wrong." well this proceeded for about 5 min until i jus gave up and said whatever.... am i wrong in this or ois he, anyway i can get back at him or should i let it go???

What can you do? Nothing. Teachers have the upper hand, and if they want to lower a grade, they can, whether you feel its justified or not. Unfortunately, some seem to do this more liberally than others...

let it go. Teachers are humans too. Some are decent some are ass holes.

the thing is that he had given me full credit for at least trying, ... but when i proceeded to tell him the right answer thats when he lowereed my score,. it jus doesnt make sens.e so i guess i shouldve sticked with the wrong answer

Post a pic of yer teacher, someone will photochop it, make a hard copy and put up a few around campus. I find being petty sometimes helps.

Let me ask you this, was it a grammar or spelling question?

Stay and hang around with us for awhile, but to be honest I find your post very hard to read.

thats the lesson that you learn....life isnt always fair....I find myself in stupid situations like that...usually at work..and I have to shrug it off...knowing that Im right and their wrong..because it gets you in more trouble to justify yourself. just hope that the teacher does soo much in one day that he either forgets or uses it to scare other kids....I wouldnt worry about it...as long as you are sure of yourself and you walk away with the knowledge (and he doesnt fail you) then youve done right by yourself. F*** what he says.

oh....and next time dont correct yourself
