Very high Network's buffer measurements - help please

Post by inflex »

Hello,
It's my first post on this forum so let me introduce myself for first. I'm Alan, 16 y.o from Poland. From about 4 days im having ping spikes and lags in generall in-game (League of Legends) so I really can't play. In game's producent article about preventing lags they've said to do an internet analisys. I did it:
http://n2.netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/su ... -4f23-8f36

I found there, that my "Network buffer measurements : Uplink: 1100ms, Downlink 300ms"

Also: "We estimate your uplink as having 1100 ms of buffering. This is quite high, and you may experience substantial disruption to your network performance when performing interactive tasks such as web-surfing while simultaneously conducting large uploads. With such a buffer, real-time applications such as games or audio chat can work quite poorly when conducting large uploads at the same time."

This is really unplayable and I don't really now what to do with it. There is also a "SpeedGuide Analyzer" results:
« SpeedGuide.net TCP Analyzer Results »
Tested on: 2015.08.02 12:29

MTU: 1500
TCP Window: 65700 (multiple of MSS)
RWIN Scaling: 2 bits (2^2=4)
Unscaled RWIN : 16425
Recommended RWINs: 64240, 128480, 256960, 513920, 1027840
BDP limit (200ms): 2628kbps (329KBytes/s)
BDP limit (500ms): 1051kbps (131KBytes/s)
MTU Discovery: ON
TTL: 117
Timestamps: OFF
SACKs: ON
IP ToS: 00000000 (0)

I've read that I should setup my QOS but I really dont know what is this. My router is TPLINK TL-WR740N.

Any kind of help will be really appreciated. Have a nice day :)

EDIT: http://www.pingtest.net/result/128096176.png
Before I got lagged with those, I've always had 40-45 ping (in game, nowadays it's about 70-200) , 0 packet loss and about 0 jitter
On this page my ping was like 5-10 http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4551611617

You may want to drop to command prompt and do a "tracert speedguide.net" to see where the lag starts to spike up. If it is close to you (within the first few hops), it is probably your ISP.

Other than that, try running the TCP Optimizer, with the smallest recommended RWIN value. What type of internet connection, what is the maximum advertised speed ? Wired or Wireless client ?

Setting your QoS value may be overwritten by your ISP, and leaving it at zero should not affect your ping (unless you are filling all your bandwidth with other traffic).
