I have a 16 gig USB drive. I downloaded an ISO. The contents are:

A folder called 8.1x64 - inside are three files:

lp_de-de_x64
lp_ru-ru_x64
lp_uk-ua_x64

a folder called KMS autonet

a file called windows 8 professional x64 Integrate, that's about 3.5 gigs

the problem is I dont know which file to put on the usb drive or what to do after I do that. Do I just put the file on the stick, turn off my computer, put in the stick, and reboot it?

I was told I could do it from a USB stick, in fact it says all over the net you can, but there are no detailed instructions

post edited, not that I think it really matters

windows has a "refresh your pc" thing that will reinstall windows but keep your data, but when I try to run it it says some files are missing, insert your recovery media. Which I dont have.

eta: i still need to know which of those files to put on the USB

n/m - used the Asus recovery utility to do a clean install :)

eta: a clean install to Vista, that is, lol. About to upgrade to Win8.
