Regarding this exploit which hit the news heavy last week

Any existing and prior versions were vulnerable.
The 7-11 update came out yesterday mid afternoon.

Can also just go to http://www.java.com
Install it....any existing older Java 7-x versions will automatically uninstall and update
Any existing prior older generation versions....Java 6-x, 5-x, J2RE 2....you'll have to manually uninstall via add-remove. The Java 7 update 11 installer will not remove those for you..and if you leave them there, you are just as vulnerable.
