Never thought the day would come!

Post by MissTynker2 »

After about a 25 year wait....I finally have broadband! Woo hoo!! I am still more than a bit amazed that I can even have more than one tab open at a time, after all the dial up years. Someone finally realized...that this remote area is in fact still part of planet earth! This is awesome!! :D

Ya know I would imagin still 70% if not more of this county I'm in and others around me still either have to settle on dialup, 3G or over priced satellite internet. It's a damn shame the phone company around here won't push DSL farther out or even the cable company won't drop lines to get those customers out and about.

That's gotta be a great feeling. I don't think I could live with a dial up connection. Our speed at work is 1500/1500 and it feels like it just crawls. When I get home the world seems to open up.

Trust me...I had no other options. Even satellite sucks here...and way too limited for my activity...such as the constant folding programs on several machines. I am a happy camper!
