Who here still uses the good ol' boob tube?
Anyone still using Boob tubes? (CRT's)
I still use em on older computers when I come across one.

I spent the entire day looking for a response time and I've yet to find it. Everyones giving off info about other monitor response times and plenty of people asking what the response time is on that monitor but no answers from what I saw. o_OYARDofSTUF wrote:Not sure. But theres lots of reviews/comparisons/discussions with different stats about lag between it and various LCDs if you look around.

Reesponse time is a stat that has been popular for LCDs, it wasnt with CRTs.UbahPenguin wrote:I spent the entire day looking for a response time and I've yet to find it. Input lag is what you really want to look at anyway.
Compared to the Sony, Older LCDs tend to have 30-50ms greater lag, some newer ones are pretty close.

I used to have an emergency CRT as well but.. it was taking up too much room so I had to sell it. So is this friend of yours clingy to their CRT or just no funds?OSULLY wrote:I have a crt on the floor in case of emergency, only one friend left using one and I'm looking for a miracle to upgrade her.
