You have set it too low at 27588 since you are located in East Asia.

You should get a ADSL router to protect your comp behind a NAT. With a router, you will not need to use a software firewall, and this will free up some CPU resources.triadspaulo wrote:alryt.. tnx for the suggestion.. ^^ i already changed it.. and it seems im more stable 1.27mbps now.. so there isnt any tweak that can surpass my bandwidth.. oh well my isp sux.. ^^ tnx for the help trogers..

Then you have set it up in bridge mode, meaning the router is turned off.triadspaulo wrote:im on a router.. asus rx3041..
If the router is set to PPPoE mode, the IP address in the first hop of your tracert will belong to the router with the address 192.168.xxx.xxx format.

If there are other pc in the network, it becomes more important to set the router to PPPoE mode.triadspaulo wrote:how to set it up?.. i have other pc on house.. will it affect the other one?.. will it get better if u set it up in brdge mode?.. btw its set to PPOE mode..
(sorry im a noob when it comes to this..)
Read the user manual.
Only thing that will be affected is the need to port forward if you are running some programs like games online and torrents.
