I think obama will win,because of the popular vote and national polls and the state of craziness the current gov has left us in,

I don't want obama to win,I actually don't want either him or mccain to win

I want joe walsh to be president

You know the last presidential election was like that with Ghost, Prey and of course Ghosthunter.

Nothing wrong with a bit of celebration but but the "rub it in" posts are a bit silly.

I do hope that the Obama supporters are a bit more mature than that.

Why not? If he blows of his platform, spends the first nine months putting together a bannana republic while ignoring things like his head of terrorism trying desperately to get a meeting, and of course blowing off any good will the rest of the world have for us, then you bet I'll complain.

I don't like either candidate and I refuse to vote as a result. I am not going to vote for anybody for the sake of voting.

Most states have all kinds of propositions, judges, and state positions that need to be decided.

Your local politics will probably affect you more than the Presidential election will, so you should really consider voting even if you don't vote for a President.

Guess it depends on what people construe as rubbing it in. If Obama wins I will undoubtedly be happy, but I won't create some thread and specifically direct it to those who voted for McCain for the sole purpose of rubbing it in. That said I will definitely be happy about an Obama win and will say as much.

Undecided but leaning Democrat for the presidency and Republican for the senate. I don't particularly think either candidate is amazing. I'm actually pretty disappointed in the federal govt. right now (most people probably are..).

I think it's far, far more likely that Obama would lose the presidency then the chances that Republicans would have the majority in either branch of Congress.

In truth Dems will likely control all 3 branches.

If McCain were a democrat, I'd vote for him. If Obama were a Republican, I'd vote for him.

I think they represent what each opposing party needs.

Dems are too soft and the GOP has grown to be too radical with it's fundamentalism.

If the McCain of 2000 was a part of this election process he would have made the decision on who would be the better President harder on moderates. Unfortunately the 2008 version is far more right wing.

The Bradley effect is the only thing I can think of. Not sure how it could be explained any other way.

That could be the only explanation I think. I don't believe however that it will be a landslide victory like I've heard some people say.

I am giving up predicting. I certainly don't think it will be anything like 1984, but I do think Obama will win and we will know that on Tuesday night.

Not as yet. The party has been in court over it, and is showing as "pending" on lp.org, but two days out, it ain't happening. Wasn't voting for Barr anyway, but Oklahoma is a two-party myopia.

You pretty much did already.. thats what this thread is and nothing less. If the polls are correct and he wins thats exactly what this thread is. If not then it was mearly "Thats my choice and what I want" thread.. I mean come on LOL

If he were trying to rub it in wouldnt he post the poll with Obama as both choices?

I think Obama wins and I agree with UOD. Both parties need move a little more to the center.

I'm not rubbing anything in. It's a flawed argument Sava is making. I think he knows better then that. There is a clear difference between what I am doing here and taunting someone. Right now we don't know who will win and even when we do and something is said about it doesn't mean we are rubbing it in. Two examples of such a scenario.

1. Obama won the Presidency by beating John McCain
2. Obama won the Presidency and beat John McCain (hahaha McCain supporters)

The first is a statement of fact. The second is taunting due to the last part of the sentence. This is really common sense 101 stuff. Now because I can see someone making the accusation example 2 was just that. An example.
