can't host games on labtop!

I dunno wat it is but evrytime i try hosting on my pc game rise of nations, it never allows me to host it. i tried turning off my firewall but the problem still occurs. Does anyone know wat else i can do?

If you're behind a router..may have to open/forward ports on the router..to the LAN IP of your laptop, which you would want to make static.

yes i have a wireless router and play on my pc but how do i open the ports?

but how do i open the ports on my labtop? where do i go on my labtop to do that?
