Im just wondering if i should install it or not heard its better but last time i did on my other pc i kept gettin blue screen errors so im scared thats gonna happen again.. anyway thanks in advance

It meets the minimum specs. As long as the hardware is good..compatible RAM for your system, good hard drive, you get the proper drivers for it, should be OK. Won't be a ball of fire, maybe beef up the RAM to at least 2 gigs....it'll run "OK".

Updating the BIOS can also help, often brings increased compatibility.

Should run fine, but I'd consider bumping the RAM to 2 GB for better perf in Vista on that machine.

it did ok i dual booted so i wouldnt lose my xp. i would open a few things and it would kinda slow down a bit but not too bad but now i cant get the partition to combine back over with my xp one but no big deal i dont guess.. Vista was ok just made the hard drive thrash a lot and it said it only had 7 megs free of memory dont know why i have 1 gig couldnt set the page file it does it for u so i dont know but i appreciate all the info and stuff i tried it dont like it lol but thanks for the input.

memory utilization is different in Vista, it actually uses the RAM you have to do what it needs to, so with 1 GB its going to be full, but don't think about it like you use to with XP, the more RAM you have the more of it will be "free" so to speak, i would recommend bumping up to 2 GB for vista

Dude, minimum 2G of ram IMO. 4G to be safe.
