Generic host problem ( Need help seriously )

I know theres alot of generic host problem thread around here ,
and i realised there is alot of experts in this forum.
I would appreciate if you guys can help me out.
I am having this Error , a common error, but its annoying me.
I would get this error whenever my sharing network pc is on, after about 30 mins.
If I do not turn on my second pc , this problem will not occur.
Moreover, my msn messenger always encounter problem and i cant access into it.
Many of my programs are hardly usable. I cant open the software/programs often. I double clicked it and it just won't open.
I do not think its a automatic update problem, for I am not using a genuine microsoft and i do not turn on its automatic updates.

You already have the answer to your problem..... since you are not using a legit version of XP you cannot get all of the latest updates which fix this issue.
