nsx header install

Post by tHE_0ne »

This is how me and my friend spent our weekend installing Cantrell Headers on my dads nsx. Got them for really cheap on a group buy on a nsx fourm (nsxprime). Manual saids it should take 4 or so hours to do, the space to work in is so TIGHT, took us 7 HOURS with plenty of hardys and ice tea breaks.

That night we went for a long ass drive to Newport News/York town/Glouster on some back roads, its amazing the gains are about 20-25hp. Raced a Evo 8 with ''stage 2/400hp/dyno tuned@dynoinc" he beat us by about a car length. got half a car length with a Mach 1 on the highway.

Those primaries look horrible, no offense. The welding job on the opening ports needs some definite smoothing.

Nice, add a S2K and you'll have the perfect Honda Collection.

I feel your pain on the header install. Putting headers in a 4th Gen Camaro with a LT1 is no fun either.

Car super high on jackstands + through the bottom + loosening the motor mount makes it bearable. Not quick ... but bearable. :rotfl:
