I just love this TCP Optimizer beta version. But I have two questions. One question, where is the DefaultTOSValue key in the registry? I can't even find the registry value or number to check. Second question, everytime I select 4000Kbps and click on Optimal Settings to help with latency and speeds, I would get a different RWIN like 25800 instead of 256960. Other than these two things, what a great job that you did on the new version of TCP Optimizer, Philip. TCP Optimizer Beta really sped up my connection tremedously and webpage loads are instant now.

Computer specs:
Dell Dimension 2350 with a 1.7Ghz Intel Celeron Proccesor, Windows XP Home Edition, 80 Gig hard drive, 768Mb of DDRAM PC2100, CDRW and cdrom. Cox.net at 4Mbps down and 512Kbps up.
Thanks for the positive comments, I know about the 2 bugs you mentioned and they're being worked on already (note the list of known bugs in my first post). They'll be fixed within a couple of days with the next beta version.
The DefaultTOSValue is not in the Registry by default. You can see the exact Registry path when you hit "Apply changes" in the preview window.
Thanks, Philip, you answer my questions. I will wait until the final version comes out.

TCP Optimizer beta 8 works better and I get 256960 as long as the MTU is at 1500, I could find the DefaultTOSValue in the registry and page loads instantly. I'm still going to play around
with the "Advanced Settings", I'm trying to find the right spot for my connection. But the service is way better than it was last week.

Updated the program again (just a couple of minor changes from beta 8) and we're up to Release Candidate 1. Again, any feedback from testing in different environments would be appreciated.

Can you export and email me the following Registry key please, it might help us troubleshoot it ?
We've released RC1 as TCP Optimizer 2.0 Final. The executable has been updated with the new version, so all links should point to the correct location already. If you already have RC1 downloaded after 04-15-2005, there are no new changes to it.
If anyone for any reason prefers version one of the program, you can contact me to obtain it.
If you experience any problem at all with the program, we'd like to know.
