guys Im putting win2k on my second machine. Is there any tweaks you would recomend for beter performance? another question I hAVE IS should I do All the service packs?? how many are there??....... :) :)

yes you should install the latest service pack, which is service pack 4 I'm pretty sure.

You do not do ALL service packs, but only the latest, which incorporates all updates from previous service packs. This of course is mainly for stability and security reasons.

For Win2k I just do the usual like I'd do for any operating system...which is disable unneeded services, remove unnecessary Windows components, and set my paging file to 512MB Min and Max values.

Besides the latest service pack, which is sp4 for 2K, all other windows updates also.
