something is wrong with my comcast speed upgrade . $10 tier addon

Post by vizionblind »

was normally at comcast pro. downgraded *sort of* to the comcast $10 tier addon which is 6000/768 or whatever the number is.

My upload speeds register at 700 but my download is stuck at 3980 .

I called comcast twice but they see nothing wrong on their end. Why am I only getting 3980 download when I should be closer to 6000?

What OS are you using?

Try resetting your modem.

I'm getting the same thing. Great upload speed but same download speed I was getting before with the 4.0. I called comcast 3 times today, they are going to call me on monday and let me know if they find anything out. My upload speed is anywhere between 700 to 850 now. I'm sure i'll have to call them. If i find anything out i'll let you know.

They reset it about 15 times today, i've unpluged. I've done about everything. I'll try 5 min and let you know. I've plug right into the computer and bypassed the router also.
